Hi! I’m Daniela Cassol, Product Owner for the JGI Analysis Workflow Service (JAWS) at the DOE Joint Genome Institute (JGI), part of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

I lead the development and strategy of JAWS, a distributed workflow execution system that powers large-scale, reproducible science across multiple DOE national laboratories. My work focuses on improving usability, performance, and collaboration to make complex computational workflows easier, faster, and more fun for scientists everywhere.

I’m originally from Brazil, but I now call the Bay Area home.
